Ashley Courtland Stinnett has been labeled as America’s “up and coming” voice of conservatism. Born and raised in West Virginia, Ashley grew up in theatre and the arts. While attending Marshall University, Ashley focused his attention on acting and modeling, landing various jobs on the East Coast.
After graduating from Marshall University with a background in Criminal Justice and History, Ashley wrote and produced his first feature film “Lake Forest” which received a small theatrical release and DVD distribution. After “Lake Forest” Ashley set out on a new journey which would take on the role of championing conservatism. While in college Ashley served in various local conservative clubs. After college, he began serving on state and national level Republican committees and was soon elevated to State Chairman of the West Virginia Young Republicans.
Since 2005 Ashley has been a regular guest host for the Clear Channel Communications produced”The Tom Roten Morning Show”. Ashley has served as a full-time journalist since 2004 writing freelance for several West Virginia based newspapers as well as multiple online media outlets. In 2005, Ashley was invited to serve on the editorial board for the Huntington Herald-Dispatch and has been a regular op-ed writer. In April of 2007, Ashley’s production company released a half- hour documentary titled “Our Second Amendment: A Guarantee of Freedom”. The film, which is set in Appalachian America, exposes the liberal gun banning agenda stemming from the politicians in Washington as well as the United Nations to the media.
Ashley currently lives in West Virginia. Aside from maintaining “Patriots Last Stand” he serves as a writer, media and public relations consultant, public speaker, volunteer for various conservative organizations, and a civilian recruiter for the NRA. He is registered with the Associated Press and the National Conference of Editorial Writers. He is currently working on a book which will feature a “patriot’s foundation for a better America”.
